RIP Olivia Newton John. It's upsetting to hear of the passing of Olivia. Aside from Olivia's music, her performance in the movie Grease was one of my all time favorites, and one of my favorite all time movies. I remember spending hours upon hours playing drums along to the Grease soundtrack. Olivia was a talented woman, from singing to acting, she had it all. And lets not forget her looks. Oivia was every young school boys first crush, this one included! My condolenses to her family, friends and fans.

I wanted to express my condolences to the family and friends on the passing of musician Meatloaf. "Meatloaf's album "Bat Out Of Hell" was such an important part of my childhood, and holds alot of special memories. My mom was a huge fan of his music, and if it weasn't for her, I would have never fallen in love with his music. Her favorite song was "Two Out Of Thre Ain't bad", and whenever I hear that song I can't help to think of her. That's what a good song does, brings back memories, songs that played a part in your life. For that, I thank you, your music brings back amazing memories which I'll always cherish. Rest in peace.....

What a great way to start the week.... a couple of weeks ago I posted a new video I made for the song "All The Gold" from my band The Jersey Syndicate, which I remixed in the studio last year. Thanks to social media, the video has been viewed over 5000 times on YouTube! And if that wasn't enough, some of our other videos also saw a increase in views! (Right now our video for our song "Tell Me" has over 262,000 views on it!!) I wanted to thank everyone who took the time from their busy schedules to watch the video. It's much appreciated!

I am very excited to announce that I went back into the studio to remix a song from the Jersey Syndicate's debut cd called "All The Gold"! I added a beautiful 12 string acoustic guitar as well as a peddle steel guitar. Vocalist Stevie Samay and keyboardist Rich Gurtler also recorded additional backing vocals. I am very happy with the results, and hope you enjoy it as well. Not only did I remix the tune, I put together a new video to accompany it. The video can be found on my "videos" page. Enjoy!

The list keeps getting bigger... Just heard the news of the passing of Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts. Charlie was a very talented drummer with one of the worlds most iconic bands, and I honestly don't know how these guys can continue on without him. His drumming made Rolling Stones songs what they were. A solid drummer who didn't need to show off or play a huge kit, he did it all with a 4 piece. Your absense will be felt and surly missed. RIP Charlie!

    July 28th, 2021

Say it isn't so.... ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill passed away. ZZ Top was such a huge band back in the 80's, and their videos on MTV made me want to get 33 Ford Coup. And let's not forget those beards... (On a side note, I always thought it was funny that the only guy in the band without a long beard was named Frank Beard.) RIP Dusty Hill!

    July 14th, 2021

Wow, this just isn't a great year for musicians. RIP Jeff LaBar, guitarist for Cinderella. Believe it or not, Cinderella was one of my favorite bands growing up, and I had the good fortune to see them a few times, although I never got to open for them. I guess I never will have that chance....

I would like to offer my condolences to the friends and family on the passing of Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen was such an important part of rock history, and there will never be another band like them. I thank Eddie for all the beautiful music he created and its such a great legacy to leave behind. Van Halen's "1984" tour was the very forst rock concert I ever attended, and those memories alone make me appriciate Van Halen all the more.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali. I had the pleasure of opening for Quiet Riot several times with The Jersey Syndicate and Frankie actually always remembered me by name and would come up and bullshit with me before every show. It was Frankie and Kevin Dubrow who recommended The Jersey Syndicate for the first Rocklahoma, and they always made us feel like friends when we saw them. RIP Frankie, thanks for the music and memories....

What a nice way to start my day... I happened to be watching some videos on youtube, and saw the the video from The Jersey Syndicate for our song "Tell Me" has been viewed over 260,000 times! (A song I co-wrote with guitarist Shaun Cooney and vocalist Stevie Samay) Considering it was only at 254,00 before the whole quarentine thing started, thats pretty amazing. (believe it or not, the other videos on our channel also saw an incredible spike in views. "Hurt Anymore" is now up to 113,044, "Why Can't Everyday Be Like Christmas" is now at 115,006, "All The Gold" is at 79,824, "Learning to Live" is at 67,571, "Who Says You Can't Go Home" is at 42,285, and "Road to Rocklahoma" is up to 71,690.) Our channel is close to 750,000 views for all our videos have received. Not bad for a local original band!

10 years ago my original band The Jersey Syndicate released our debut CD, and headlined the Stone Pony in Asbury Park NJ. The first single off the cd was a song called "Tell Me". The music was written by myself & my guitarist Shaun Cooney and the lyrics by our vocalist Stevie Samay. To date, the video for that song has been viewed over 254,000 times. I've been talking with Shaun and our keyboardist Rich Gurtler about writing some new songs and possibly going back in the studio to record. Let's see what this year has in store for us. In the meantime, I invite you to check out the video. Hope you enjoy it!

I've been playing drums for over 30+ years professionally in various bands. I've had success in all the original bands I started, from Without Love to the The Jersey Syndicate, and also found major success in my 80's tribute band Max Headroom "a totally rad journey through the 80's". I've played sold out shows at the Stone Pony (opening for the Gin Blossoms), even headlined the Pony 4 times. Two years ago I formed my newest project called Those Amazing Decades, and today I'm excited to announce that we will once again be headlining Starland Ballroom on January 18th! I put this show together with some very talented musicians, many whom I've worked with in the past. I hope you all can come out and celebrate the night with us. What a great way to begin 2020!

    October 3rd, 2019

    July 10th, 2019

So very proud of my daughter Kayla. As many of you know, she's very active in soccer, just returned from the Premier SuperCopa in Dallas TX, and even recently had her name in the paper. Tonight the Manalapan Township committee and mayor presented Kayla with a certificate of recognition for representing Manalapan in the Supercopa tournament. Thank you Mayor Susan Unger Cohen, and the township committee for the honor. Kayla really appreciates all the nice things you had to say. She will continue to make Manalapan proud!!

    July 7th, 2019

Congratulations to the USA Womans Team for their victory today!!

Wishing everyone a Happy 4th of July!

    June 16th, 2019

Wishing a Happy Fathers Day to all the awesome dads out there, including my dad... Miss you! Also, special shout out to all the dads here in Texas with me rooting our girls on from the sidelines! And for the girls coach, who is not with his family today so he could be here with his CSA family, Happy Fathers Day to you!

    June 15th, 2019

I was 16 years old the very first time I got my name in the paper for playing in a band. This past Wednesday, my daughter Kayla got me beat by 6 years and got her name in the paper for playing soccer! I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, lol....

    June 7th, 2019

Got to love it when the mayor of the town your from congratulates your daughter on her achievements. Thank you Manalapan Mayor Susan Unger Cohen for the kind words and posts about Kayla. Also, thank you for the phone call. Kayla was very excited that "our mayor" (her words, lol...) called and spoke with her!

    June 5th, 2019

Exactly one week from today, Kayla will get the opportunity of a lifetime, as she and her teammates from the Cedar Stars Academy travel to Dallas Texas to compete in the invitation only Premier SuperCopa soccer tournament. Their team just happens to be the ONLY female team representing NJ in the tournament, and it's such a honor that NJ Governor Phil Murphy personally called the girls last week to congratulate them! This is such an incredible and talented group of girls who continue to amaze me everyday. I'm so proud of my daughter for the passion and dedication she puts into this, all the while maintaining her good grades in school and keeping up with her homework and even finding time to sing in the school choir and play in the school band. Way to go Kayla! Last week I posted a video of the call from the Governor. Realizing it was difficult to understand what he was saying (The video was done from my phone) I went back and added captions of the conversation. So, here it is again, with captions. Enjoy the video, and kudos to the Governor for taking the time to call the girls. You made a bunch of 10 year olds very happy!

    May 29th, 2019

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! The most amazing thing just happened and I just have to share it.... as many of you know, Kayla plays forward on the Cedarstars girls 09 soccer team. The girls have been doing great, and in just two weeks they will be heading to Dallas to play in the Premier SuperCopa soccer tournament, playing against teams from all over the USA. Kayla's team is the only female team representing NJ in the tournament, and today at practice, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy called the girls to congratulate them, wish them luck, and to tell them that they "are a inspiration"! How cool is that?? I say it all the time, and really mean it, this is such a awesome bunch of girls, and getting a phone call from the Governor is just amazing!!

    May 27th, 2019

Wishing everyone a Happy Memorial Day! Thank you all for your service!

I wanted to thank everyone who made it out to my Those Amazing Decades show on Friday at the Starland Ballroom. It was great to see some many friends at the show, and it was a incredible debut! When you were hoping to have only a couple of hundred at the show and find out that the official attendance was 963, it reached far more than any expectations I could have had for a debut. I also wanted to give a shoutout to the musicians who shared with my vision on creating this show and for making it such a success... David Artiaga, Justin Turk, Nikki Cap, Amanda Tucci, Joey Rapps, Dan Bourguet, Rich Gurtler, Michael Gabriel, Brian Chesney, Darryl Jacobsen and roadie John Salisky. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Look for new show dates coming soon!

Tonight is going to be such a great night and I hope to see alot of familiar faces. There are some tickets still available at the box office. Doors are at 8pm, showtime roughly 8;45-9pm. Discography

    "The Jersey Syndicate" - 2010

The Jersey Syndicate released their debut cd, "Moon Motel", in the fall of 2010. The cd featured 10 songs, and two of it's tracks were mixed by noted rock producer, Beau Hill. The two tracks, "Tell Me" & Hurt Anymore" would become the bands first singles, and "Tell Me" was the first video released off the cd. Not only did Mike record all drum tracks, but also co-wrote several songs on the cd.

"Jersey Artist For Mankind" - 1986

Jersey Artists For Mankind (or "JAM" as it was called) was a two song disc produced by The E Street Band's Garry Talent. The title track "We Got The Love" had a guitar solo played by Bruce Springsteen. Mike, while a member of Mischief, sang backing vocals on the track, along with other notable Jersey shore musicians in the local original music scene.

"Mischief - Only Losers Left Alive" - 1985

Mischief recorded it's only album "Only Losers Left Alive" in the fall of 1985. The album was produced by "The Lords of The New Church" guitarist Bryan James. The entire album was recorded in a single day, with most of the tracks recorded live and in one take. The album featured 8 songs, with the title cut being "Only Losers Left Alive".

  • About Mike....

Drummer Mike Sasso has been an active musician in the Jersey Shore original music scene for over 40 years.

Starting in 1982, Mike joined the original/cover band "Mischief", which played all over the tristate area, including the Brighton Bar, The Green Parrot, and the now defunct "CBGB'S" in NYC.

Mischief signed with Mutha Records, and in the spring of 1985 released the album "Only Losers Left Alive". (which was co-produced by Brian James of The Damned/Lords of the New Church fame)

The album saw mild success and the band toured the east coast in support of it, and shared the stage opening for national recording acts "The Lords of the New Church" & "Richard Lloyd". They even reached number 28 on the top 50 countdown on 90.9 FM, WONY Oneonta.

Mischief also had the privilege to record group backing vocals on the song "We've Got The Love" for "Jersey Artist For Mankind" to help raise money for the homeless in NJ. The song featured Max Weinberg, Southside Johnny, Glenn Burtnick, and a guitar solo by the boss himself, Bruce Springsteen!

In the fall of 1986, Mike left Mischief, but would reunite with Mischief guitarist/frontman Tom Kanach in a new band, "Well of Souls". Mike would continue to work with Well of Souls for two years, recording over 20 songs, but left the project in 1989.

After taking some time away from the music scene, Mike formed the original rock band "Without Love" in 1992, which would also feature songs co-written by him. Without Love would record several songs in a two year period, and made it's mark along the Jersey Shore music scene playing at such venues as Club Bene, Birch Hill Nightclub, The Playpen Lounge, The Fastlane, Studio One, and the Legendary Stone Pony, which the band headlined 2 times.

The band also shared the stage opening for national acts Survivor, Slaughter, White Trash, Trixter, American Angel, Savatage, Jake E. Lee, & Dee Snider's Widowmaker.

Without Love broke up in 1999, and Mike would continue to play in various projects, but never found the chemistry he had with his previous bands.

In the fall of 2002, Mike put together a Bon Jovi tribute act, but after a year and a half, Mike called it quits with the project, but not before recording several Bon Jovi songs.

In 2006, Mike went on to form "The Jersey Syndicate", a six piece rock band that saw the most success out of all Mike's previous projects. Mike even tapped a unknown female vocalist he had worked with in the Bon Jovi band to front the new project.

The Jersey Syndicate quickly rose to the top of the original music scene, playing such venues as The Starland Ballroom, Irving Plaza, The House of Blues, The Sherman Theater, Mt. Airy Casino, Great Adventure, The Saint, and The Stone Pony.

The band became the "goto" band to open for national acts. To date, the group has shared the stage with over 32 national acts including The Gin Blossoms (three times), The Blues Traveler, Charlie Worshon, Fountains of Wayne, Ryan Cabrera, American Idol's Constantine Maroulis, Eddie Money, 38 Special, Edgar Winter, Night Ranger, RATT, Extreme, Slaughter, Warrant, Trixter, Stryper, Kings X, Pretty Boy Floyd, Danger Danger, Twisted Sister, Bang Tango, Winger (twice), Skid Row (three times), & Quiet Riot (three times), just to name a few.

The band also had the privilege of playing the first annual "Rocklahoma Music Festival" in Pryor Creek Oklahoma in 2007 with acts like Poison, RATT, Firehouse, Enuff-Z-Nuff, Great White, LA Guns, Queensrÿche, Dokken, Jackyl, Y & T, and many other of the top 80's "hair bands".

The festival, which some say was the best in the series, proved to be beneficial for the band. They were the only original act to perform two days in a row, (no other act, either national or local, would play two days in a row at any of the festivals) they were the only female fronted rock band (both national or local) to perform at the first festival, and the only original act invited to perform the first festival. (other original acts won contests to perform and the following years actually had to pay to perform.)

In 2010, The Jersey Syndicate recorded their debut CD, with Grammy winning rock producer Beau Hill producing a couple of tracks. (Beau Hill has worked with Stevie Nicks, Joe Crocker, and on successful debut albums by RATT, Winger & Warrant.) Aside from songwriting credits on the cd, Mike also co-produced the cd as well. The band would return to the Stone Pony for their cd release party. (marking the third time Mike would headline a show at the Pony!)

The band has filmed videos, appeared on several FM radio stations, performed on TV, and has been featured in over 45 newspaper/music magazines all over the country and as far away as Europe! To date, the video for their song "Tell Me" has been viewed more than 280,000 times! (all The Jersey Syndicate have a combined views of over 860,000!)

2010 also saw Mike reunite with the original members of Mischief to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of "Only Losers Left Alive" to a packed house at the famed Brighton Bar in Long Branch, NJ..

In the spring of 2011, Mike put together a backing band for a new up & coming young female vocalist named "Amanda Fugel", and performed at the Stone Pony in support of national recording artists "The Bangles".

At the end of 2011, The Jersey Syndicate recorded their version of Bon Jovi's "I Wish Everyday Would Be Like Christmas" which would find it's way onto several local FM stations on Christmas Eve, which is STILL being played today!

Due to other commitments, Mike has decided to put the Jersey Syndicate on hiatus for awhile, but still plans to record new material with the band, and play a select few shows with them as well.

In the spring of 2012, Mike formed an 80's tribute act called "Max Headroom". The band quickly rose to the top of the tristate cover scene, playing some of the areas top rooms and casinos. The band performed all over the tri-state area, and would perform at major corporate parties and even weddings! (Interesting side note, Max Headroom made it's performing debut by headlining thier first show ever at The Stone Pony, making it the 4th time Mike would headline a show there!) In 2017, after much thought, Mike decided to end Max Headroom and put his attention in other areas.

In the fall of 2017, Mike announced his newest project called "Those Amazing Decades", a show that's features 30 years of music in one night! Starting with the year 1970, the show features one hit after another, playing a hit a year all the way up to 1999! The show has already saw major success, as they have headlined the Starland Ballroom, The Sherman Theater, and were the very first band/act to play at the brand new 1200 seat event center at the Mount Airty Casino!

Who knows where the future will take Mike, but we're sure it will be an adventure....

  • The Jersey Syndicate

The Jersey Syndicate is a 6 piece, female fronted rock band formed in 2006 by former "Without Love" drummer Mike Sasso. The original lineup only lasted one show, after which Mike replaced the full lineup with what he describes as "the best bunch of guys that I've ever had the pleasure to work with!"

Since then, the band has grabbed the music scene by the horns, and hasn't let go. With a sound compared to Bon Jovi meets Sugarland, the band has rose to the top of the original music scene. They have already amassed a resume to make other bands jealous.

Their first gig was at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, playing to over 2500 screaming fans. They have also had the privilege to share the stage with over 33 national recording acts, including the Gin Blossoms, Blues Traveler, Ryan Cabrera, Fountains of Wayne, American Idol's Constantine Maroulis, Country star Charlie Worsham, 80's rockers Eddie Money, 38 Special, Edgar Winter, Night Ranger & Extreme, just to name a small few.

The Jersey Syndicate has also had the privilege to play at the 1st annual Rocklahoma Music Festival in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma. The festival featured performances by some of the top 80's hair bands. (Poison, Ratt, Firehouse, Winger, Warrant, White Lion, & Dokken, were just a few of the bands to perform. )

The festival proved to be very beneficial to the band. Here's some key points that the band is very proud of......

*Aside from Skid Row, The Jersey Syndicate was the only band from NJ invited to play this event.
*Aside from Skid Row and Twisted Sister, The Jersey Syndicate was the only band on the East Coast invited to play this event.
*The Jersey Syndicate was the only band, both local and national, to play 2 days in a row.
*The Jersey Syndicate was the only band, both local and national, to be female fronted.
*The Jersey Syndicate was the only unsigned act invited to play this event. (all the other local/unsigned bands had to wincontests to get their spots to play!)

In 2010 The Jersey Syndicate released their self titled debut cd with tracks mixed and produced by famed record producer, Beau Hill. (Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper, Joe Crocker, Warrant, Winger, RATT, etc…..)

In 2011 The Jersey Syndicate was invited to perform at the 52nd annual KABOOM Fireworks on the Navisink River in Red Bank NJ. (No other original act was invited to play on the river.)

The Jersey Syndicate has had featured stories written on them in such publications as The Asbury Park Press, The Aquarian Arts Weekly, The Examiner, The Hub, The Independent, The News Transcript, The Sentinel, The Tri-Town News, The Press of Atlantic City, Hellomusic.com, The Jersey Shore Rag, Jersey Beat Music Fanzine, Florida Music Magazine, The Jersey Shore Metromix, Rockeyez Webzine, Rock Hard Magazine, NJ Underground Magazine, Muen Magazine, Bravewords.com, Hellomusic.com, & NJ.com.

They have also appeared on various radio & internet radio stations, some of which include WRFF-104.5FM (a Clearchannel owned station), WZZO-95.1FM, WNNJ-103.7FM, WDAS-105.3FM, KWSS-106.7FM, WPNR-90.7FM, WVOX-1460AM, Banana Peel Radio (a Vancouver Canada based station), Cut-n-Dry Talent Radio (an iTunes podcast), Aiiradio.net (a UK based station), & Cyberstorm Radio.

What's next on the horizon is anybody's guess. But if the path the guys are going on continues, it's sure to be an amazing journey. And we'd like to take you along with us, if just for 45 minuets at a time......

  • Max Headroom

It was a different world, say those who were there, a time before iPods in a land innocent of cell phones, Crocs, grunge, hybrids, and Ryan Seacrest. Hair metal bands roamed the Earth untamed. Christi loved Billy, Ferris Bueller took the day off, and George Clooney could wear a mullet without irony. Anthropologists say it was called "the 80's" and estimate that it lasted, unchecked, for nearly a decade.

The 80's gave the world E.T., Madonna, the collapse of the Berlin Wall and Smurfs. Lady Di became a Princess, Dr. Ruth lobbied for "good sex!" and Mel Gibson was anointed People's first Sexist Man Alive. In movies, Molly Ringwald was Pretty in Pink, the Brat Pack got detention, Tom Cruise made some extra money and danced in his underwear, and Michael J Fox went Back to the Future. In politics, Donna Rice proved a (Gary) Hart stopper, and on Wall Street, masters of the universe Ivan Boesky and Michael Milken were brilliant one minute, in handcuffs the next.

And then there's the music... Bruce was Born in the USA, and Michael Jackson made it absolutely clear to anyone who would listen that Billie Jean was not, repeat not, his lover. Jon Bon Jovi was Wanted Dead or Alive, and the Flock of Seagulls Ran.

Max Headroom ruled television, and as fate would have it, has emerge again in 2012, this time as the nations premier 80's tribute band.

Formed with the desire to recreate the entire 80's vibe, Max Headroom delivers a action pack show, complete with vintage 80's costumes, incredibly tight musicianship, and their signature audience participation segments. The band is quickly becoming the area's most sought after tribute act, and has already developed a buzz as the "must see" band. Max Headroom is available for private and corporate parties, high school and college reunions, club dates, and weddings.

  • Without Love

Without Love was a original 6 piece rock band from central Jersey formed in 1992 by drummer Mike Sasso, guitarist Michael Benford & bassist Dan Bourguet.

Aside from Sasso, Benford & Bourguet, the original lineup also consisted of vocalist Joey D (Dante), guitarist Anthony Infantolino, and keyboardist Bruce Chamoff.

The original line up saw mild success and became local favorites at such venues as the legendary Jersey City rock club, "Escapades". The band got it's first taste of opening for nation acts Widowmaker (featuring Twisted Sisters Dee Snider) White Trash, & Savatage.

In 1994, guitarist Anthony Infantolino left the project and was replaced by Jorge (JC) Clavijo. Soon after the addition of Clavijo, the band replaced lead vocalist Joey D with Tony Sabbatino. (The addition of Sabbatino to the project began to take the band into a new direction. Sabatino was also a talented guitarist and songwriter, which help broaden the bands musical horizons.)

Keyboardist Bruce Chamoff left the project in the fall of 1994 and was replaced for a short period by keyboardist Wayne Zivco. After only a handful of shows, Zivco left the project and was replaced by keyboadist/vocalist John Pine, who aside from keyboard duties, also brought along powerful vocals, to add the harmonies of the bands new music. This version of the lineup continued to open for national acts, including Trixter, Xenon, American Angel, and Jake E Lee.

In 1995, guitarist Clavijo and vocalist Sabbatino formed a side project "The Rose", which focused more in the hard rock genre, moving them away from the "pop rock" sound of Without Love. Juggling two projects at the same time proved to be a difficult task, and in late 1995 both Clavijo and Sabbatino left Without Love to focus on their other project.

After going through several vocalist auditions, fate would play a double hand in the success of Without Love. When vocalist Matt Chase (Karczewski) came to audition, he had come with his older brother Pat, to play along acoustically with him. The band being impressed with the two brothers, hired them both on the spot.

Without Love now had a solid working lineup, which would also be the lineup to take the band to see it's most success in it's career. With the addition of the Karczewski brothers, the bands fanbase continued to grow, and they were starting to see the benefits of all their hard work. Becoming local favorites of venues like "Club Bene" and "The Stone Pony", not only did the band continue to open for national acts such as Slaughter, Survivor and Trixter, but would also move into the area of headlining their own shows.

In 1996, Without Love headlined two shows at the "Stone Pony" in Asbury Park. The first show was in January of that year, followed up by a show in May. Both shows were met by an impressive crowd, and the band would then follow up with a visit to the recording studio to begin work on some new material.

The recording sessions for the now unreleased material did not go as well as the band had hoped, and was put on hold while the band took a much needed break. (The band had been going non-stop for the past 4 years.) The break, which was only intended to give the band some much needed time away, was unfortunately the end of the project, with each member pursuing outside interests.

Through all the years since the band unofficially "broke up", the members had continued to stay in touch with one another, even sharing the stage on several occasions. (Bassist Dan Bourguet, Keyboardist John Pine and vocalist Matt Chase have all performed with drummer Mike Sasso's follow up project, The Jersey Syndicate. In fact, three Without Love tunes would appear on the Jersey Syndicate's debut cd.)

Fast forward to 2016. Some of the members of Without Love have continued to have a career in music. In 2010, drummer Mike Sasso released a cd from his new project "The Jersey Syndicate". In 2015, singer Matt Chase released his debut cd, "Matthew K". Bassist Dan Bourguet, keyboardist Bruce Chamoff, and keyboardist John Pine all continue to be active musicians, playing in various bands around the tri-state area. Vocalist Tony Sabbatino continues to write music for various artists, and opened his own recording studio. Guitarist Mike Benford choose a slightly differant creative path, graduated from Full Sail University, and has been leading a creative department in the National Football League (NFL) for the past 15+ years.

Aside from the other various musicians that filled in with the band throughout their career, the band owes a debt of gratitude to the many who served as "road crew" to the band. Al, Rich, Mike, George, "Beeker", Ed, Jeff, and countless others who made sure the band got to where they needed to, got set up and ready to play, made sure the gear was packed and ready to go, and in some instances, made it a point to make sure the band made it home, you were all the backbone to the band, and for that we thank you!

And lastly, what is a band if not for their fans? Without Love had one of the coolest, and most loyal fanbase of any local bands at the time. Aimee, Piper, Claire, Christine, Lisa, BillieJoe, Janice, Chrissy, Desiree, Gladys, Michelle, Dee, Alexis, Kim, and many, many, others, you made everything we did worthwhile. This website is dedicated to each and everyone of you. Without which, the band would have been nothing. We thank you all for being apart of this thing we called "Without Love".
